When President Biden stepped out of his White House office on January 20, 2025, at 12:00 noon, these were his numbers:
GDP 3.1%
Inflation 2.9%
Unemployment 4.1%
Wage Increase 12/2020 – 12/2024 19.7%
International Trade 122.1 Billion
Trump began his reign of terror with a tariff fest, which continues to this date. So much for our increase in International Trade.
Musk’s firings numbers to-date are (these numbers are on the low side :
Federal Workers 75,000 took deferred resignation (this matter is before the Court)
Civil Service Workers: Hundreds of thousands of probationary workers.
Dept. of VA 1,000
Dept. of Education 208 to-date, $900 million in cuts. More to follow when Linda McMahon is confirmed.
Dept. of Energy Hundreds of federal employees working on our Nation’s nuclear weapons programs. tRump’s administration STILL can’t locate them to bring them back.
Health/Human Svcs 5,000 probationary workers
CDC 1,300
Homeland Security 130 in cyber security including 17 who work on the security of our Nation’s election system
IRS Thousands (final numbers not in yet)
National Park Svc 1,000.00
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: Ordered to stop almost all of its work
Foreign Aid: First week in office tRump ordered a 90 day hold on all foreign assistance. Since then a judge has ordered a temporary lift.
And on, and on. These numbers do not include our Justice Department, our State Department, the Office of Inspectors General, and most recently the Pentagon.
Trump is expected to announce the firing of thousands from the Pentagon.
Based on all these numbers and firings, I’m asking myself; are we as a nation safe right now, are we facing a major foreign terrorist attack or a White Nationalist attack from within, is a recession looming, how much higher will our food, gas, and clothing prices climb. These are fair questions. I’m sure you have your own set of worries.
Just yesterday tRump proclaimed himself “King”. If you’re thinking he was in jest, you’re sadly mistaken.
We are at a maximum threat level now. We are experiencing a Constitutional crisis now. We are experiencing the beginning of massive unemployment numbers now. This is what a call to action looks like!
