Getting Loud
Doing
Protest is woven into our souls. We march, we resist and demand change.
- 1773-Boston Tea Party
-1963-March on Washington for civil rights.
- 1993-March on Washington for LGBT rights.
- 2000-Million Man March for gun control.
- 2017-Woman’s March in Washington to protest tRump.
And now? We are witnessing, in real time, the attempted systematic dismantling of the U.S. Constitution.
We’re complaining among ourselves about the eradication of DEI. We’re ranting about the firings at the FBI, DOJ, NLRB, NSC, EEOC, and more. We decry federal employee buyouts (which, by the way, Trump has no authority to offer), the firing of federal inspector generals, the shutdown of USAID, and the reckless imposition of unwarranted tariffs.
But we’re doing nothing. DOING.
We need to act—call our representatives, write letters, make our voices heard. Silence is not an option. History remembers those who stand up.
Will we?

Take the time. Write a brief letter (a brief letter). I’ll share mine in a later post. Make the call. Don’t know what to say? Write it down and email it to me—I’ll edit it.
DOING. We need to be DOING.
And more than that—I truly believe we need to be MARCHING. Do you?
