DEAR CONGRESSMAN CALVERT
Hello? Hello? Are You There?
Congressman Ken Calvert VIA REGISTERED MAIL-RETURN RECEIPT
Representative, 41st District
2205 Rayburn
Washington, DC 20515
Dear Congressman Calvert:
I have left multiple messages on your office answering machines at both your Palm Desert and Corona locations. Since I have not received a response, I am now reaching out in writing with a list of questions I had hoped to discuss with you in person, either in a one-on-one meeting or at a local town hall during your recent recess. Your absence from our desert area is glaringly notable.
1. Do you support DOGE?
2. Do you believe non-elected officials or those not confirmed by Congress should have unrestricted access to the financial, medical, and legal information of all Americans?
3. Were you aware of Project 2025 during your last political campaign?
4. When did you first learn about Project 2025 and when did you first have access to it?
5. Have you read the entirety of Project 2025?
6. Have you ever shared any information or statistics about your constituents in District 41, or any other District, with the architects of Project 2025?
7. During any of your terms in any political office have you signed a Non-Discosure Agreement, (NDA)?
8. What is your perspective on the mass layoffs in the civil service sector, including the Justice Department, IRS, VA, CDC (and the elimination of its website), FEMA, FOIA, etc.?
9. How to you plan to vote on extending the current tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans?
Have you ever proposed a bill in Congress to lower the tax rate for low-to-middle- income Americans? Why/why not?
How would you vote if a national abortion ban bill were introduced in the House?
By what percentage has your net worth changed since you began your political career in 1992?
Do you believe Congress and the Senate should have term limits imposed?
What do you believe is the single most important issue facing everyday Americans, the U.S. as a whole, and your constituents in District 41?
In truth, I am extremely annoyed that after five days of leaving phone messages, neither of your offices was gracious enough to respond.
I look forward to your response at your earliest convenience. In truth, I am looking forward to any response from you at all.
Sincerely
Stephanie Weinberg
